Foundation Zurb Show Me What You’ve Got!

I gave Foundation Zurb a chance when starting #IAMSocial. Not really convinced, I switched back to Bootstrap and LESS. A duo, I have been using for many projects now, including this blog.

This semester, I am taking MMP460 and our first project is to work on our portfolio. The requirements: use WordPress along with Foundation and Sass. I have no way-out this time.

But, hey! as the idiom says “every cloud has a silver lining!” This can actually be a good opportunity to enhance the duality I am trying to show between isabellegarcia.com - my portfolio - and aicragellebasi.com - my blog.

If you did not notice it yet; the domain name of my blog is the one of my portfolio backwards and the colors combination are inverted: pink over white and vice versa. Wouldn’t it be nice to say: “isabellegarcia.com is built upon Foundation Zurb and Sass, aicragellebasi.com is built upon Bootstrap and LESS”. If you know the history of these two frameworks, then you’ll understand the duality here.

This will also be a good opportunity to finally “WordPressing” my portfolio, pure static HTML/LESS so far and to give some fresh air to its overall look and feel.

Finals due in a few weeks from now. So keep your eyes peeled!
